First, Thank You for visiting my website. Next, it’s not about me, it’s about you! Your goals, your objectives and the growth of your businesses. I founded SBAI because I want to focus my business development experience to help small business get on the track of bidding and winning contracts. My focus is your revenue generation and corporate growth to the point that you no longer need SBAI anymore. When I have achieved this goal, I would have succeeded in giving back!


My background includes extensive experience in Executive Management, Strategic Planning and Management, New Business Development, Business Process development/implementation, and Contract/subcontract Management for corporations ranging from SDBs to large multi-million dollar companies. I have had the pleasure of working in and around small business that graduated from the 8(a) program, woman-owned business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, other SDB’s; and large multi-million dollar business in various pursuits of business development for more than 30 years.

My experience includes successful campaigns to the Deputy Under-Secretary of Defense, DOD/AF General staff, NASA Center Directors, contracting officers for the Army, Air Force and NASA, and the CIO’s of the FBI, CIA, DIA, and other intelligence agencies. My focus is that of team management of BD/Capture activities from the selection of a target customer, through to the understanding of client requirements, to teaming and proposal development, contract negotiation and delivery of product/services to government agencies. Over my career as a Business Development professional I have applied the skills of: 

  • Competitive Positioning – client management/service placement, 
  • Market Intelligence & Competition Analysis – Black Hat reviews, 
  • Opportunity Management – Pipeline/Funnel Development,
  • Strategic alliances and partnership development – teaming agreements,
  • Competitive Assessment – bid/no bid, probability of win,
  • Proposal Development/ requirement assurance – theme development/story boards and management of pink/red/gold team reviews.

I have had the pleasure of managing proposal resources, subject matter experts, consultants, team members and vendors in the development of winning proposal strategies which have resulted in more than $500 million is contracts as capture manager, and $5B in various Business Development roles.
